Junior high school

In the fall term of 2023, Ung SciShop work together with Year 7 at Färsinga School in Sjöbo. The theme is how disturbances in water flows, during droughts or floods, affect various activities in society and how it is possible to prepare.

Public activity during the Biosphere Festival

At the beach of Lake Vombsjön, a public activity was held during the Biosphere Festival when visitors could take part in how students from junior high school in Sjöbo discussed water challenges in society and shaped them through Land Art. Among the visitors were international students from the master's program LUMES at Lund University.

The following parts are included each year in the work together with primary school classes

The basis for Ung SciShop is that knowledge and creativity solve challenges and Land Art is a way to get a hands on understanding of the issues.

Ung SciShop worked together with middle school classes in the first year and then continued in elementary school and finished with junior high school.

Collaboration with elementary schools

Each operating year is based on a theme that is adapted to the current curriculum. The practical work is developed together with the teachers involved and to the special needs found in individual classes. The feedback from the classes and their teachers shapes the next year's work.

Land Art during a day out in nature

Land Art is an art form where you create temporary art with natural materials. By using all the senses out in nature, curiosity about the connections in nature is stimulated and anchoring points are created for fact-based knowledge that stays in the memory for a long time.
