At the same time as the Ung SciShop project was developed, the European Commission in a research process formed GreenComp as a framework for the development of sustainability competence in lifelong learning.

GreenComp encourages learning, reflection and questioning for the development of sustainability skills and participation in community development. As working methods the European Commission recommends both culture and outdoor learning. From Ung SciShop, we are happy to see that the Ung SciShop model together with GreenComp provides tools for the development of sustainability skills, not only at primary school level but also in life as a whole.

During the project period, Ung SciShop worked together with younger age groups, mainly within the competences "Promote nature" and "Value sustainability". Depending on the age of the students, parts within "Systems thinking", "Problem formulation" and "Critical thinking" have been added.
